Overview
Jamie has performed and toured Shakespeare regionally, nationally
and internationally since 2007, taking on roles such as Hamlet, Macbeth,
Romeo, Troilus, Bottom, Tybalt, Iago and a whole host more since 2007.
As a practiitoner and workshop artist, he has delivered workshops for
National Theatre, Natinal Youth Theatre, Theatre Royal Newcastle,
Universities and Colleges including Warwick, Derby, Leicester, Sheffield Hallam,
Newcastle, Sunderland, and schools across the country.
Jamie is a company director of 1623 Theatre Company,
where he is also an artist and producer.
Jamie is a core member of Theatre Space North-East, having produced
thei Shakespeare Summer Season since 2021, where he has also featured as a performer.
Jamie received an Inspirational Educator Award from London Livery Company -
The Trust of The Worshipful Company of Educators in 2020,
where the year's theme was 'Teaching Shakespeare in Challenging Settings."
